Technobabylon

City of Newton, 2087. Genetic engineering has become the norm, the highly addictive Trance has almost eliminated the need for human interaction, and an omnipresent AI known as Central governs the city.

CEL agents Charlie Regis and Max Lao are conducting an investigation into a serial Mindjacker who is illegally accessing the neural wiring of seemingly ordinary citizens, extracting their knowledge and leaving them dead. Latha Sesame, a recluse who is addicted to the virtual world, becomes a potential target. However, when Charlie's past comes back to haunt him, he and his partner find themselves on opposing sides of the law, putting Latha's fate in jeopardy.
